lightningtiger Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 I'll just post a tease shot of my latest creation.....but can anyone again guess which country is giving me inspiration ? (Note - this is a W-I-P....drain pipe and front door to be obtained yet plus the stickering. ) Comments and suggestions are always welcome. Keep watching for updates. Quote
lorax Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 The title is Euro style mini-mart, so it will probably be a county somewhere in Europe. It has a red light, so that could be a clue that it is the Netherlands. Although using the term 'Euro style' might be a ruse, so it could be somewhere closer to home, so Indonesia, they have mini-marts, and one might be 'Euro Styled'. However, your creations thus far have had an Australian flavour... so it could be Australia. The apple in the crate could be another clue, and I believe China is the greatest producer of apples, and the colouring of the mini-mart is red. So as you can see, I don't yet know what country it is based on, but I am looking forward to seeing it as it progresses. Quote

lorax Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Google told me that Fakta's head office is in Albertslund which is a suburb of Copenhagen. So Denmark. Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 24, 2011 Author Posted November 24, 2011 (edited) Bingo. Look at my latest post office the sticker above it's door has the trumpet and the word 'post' just like Post Denmark has. Now this store above with those high windows can be found about in Denmark.....Goggle Maps are fantastic for that ! Quick Edit....I have been able to snip another image from my searching.... Final photo..... Edit - I'll have to change the sign on the front to say 'Alle dage 9-21'....which I saw on a sign on the front of a Fakta in Stege, Denmark.
