Although I may not have even been alive for Blacktron I, I am still inspired by the black-yellow colour scheme. And as such, I was inspired to build these: DG-418, SR-7114, Jaxaar- Class command ship The DG is the larger dropship, the SR is the sleek assualt ship, and the Command ship is slightly obvious... Brinstar Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Nice job! I still love Blacktron so its always nice to see MOC's inspired by this classic theme. The two smaller ships definitely capture the feel of the fast maneuverable ships used by the Blacktron. I think it can be difficult to make good looking original creations in micro scale but you have managed it impressively. I particularly like the DG-418. Is there any chance we could see a minifig scale version of this? I think it would look wonderful! Quote

My favourite are the smaller of the two, but I'm not as keen on the larger one - it just doesn't seem to fit with the others stylistically though it's still rather nice. The command ship was kind ofan afterthough, something to wrap all of the creations together. I made a scout ship and a missile tank, but neither of those ended up looking as good as these three. I also have what I imageine to be Neo-futron. I will put up pictures of those sometime soon! Quote

Ahh right, I see. I think it would be cool if you could make these smaller ships dock with the larger one, I've done that a few times before and it's a fun build.
