DLuders Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 (edited) haRtV70R posted this YouTube video of his big Lego Technic Demag AC 700 crane, featuring full Power Functions (PF). He wrote, "This is a first preview of my big Lego project, a full remote-control Demag AC 700 in scale 1:15.5!! 9 axles, 8 steering, 2 for drive (axle 6+7). Driven by 2 XL motors, steering with 1 M-motor. For all the functions of the complete model I need 18 m-motors and 2x XL-motors, 10 receivers, 4 battery boxes and about 20 kg of Lego!! Will be continued!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRc3ota097w Edited November 19, 2011 by DLuders Quote

Darth Dino Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Hi i am wondering what the builder is going to use to rise the boom. Dino Quote
GuiliuG Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Impressive ! I don't know if the BB placement is definitive but the weight is not equataly distributed. I hope he will only use lego parts, same if it seems very hard to build such a crane just with lego plastic elements, I'm fairly sure it's possible :) Quote
Burf2000 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Very cool, I love when people build big. 20kg of lego, seems a light model! I think George ways that and he is naked :) Quote
