IagoParrot Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Has anyone seen any pictures of all the Harry Potter Lego sets combined into one large castle? I had most of the Sorcerer's Stone parts at one time but disassembled them for other projects, and I was curious to see if anyone had put all of the sets together. Quote
SuperChris Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I've got pretty much every Harry Potter set released to date (bar that 3rd year Hogwarts Express) and put them all together once. It looked great, but when you add the new line in, it looks really odd because of the different sizes of Hogwarts Castle. They don't fit well together at all. I decided to pack away the older sets, and just have the newer sets on display in my bedroom . I never bothered taking any pictures of the sets all together, but I have a few (from AGES ago) that might interest you. I'll just put links to them from my blog, I'm not sure how to go about embedding them. Heres all the sets from the first movie together. Chamber of secrets sets. Here is all 3 of the first castles together. This is probably the best photo I have of the main pre-2010 sets all together. Goblet of Fire sets, sorry about the quality of this one. The 2010 Castle with Battle for Hogwarts set.I used this photo in my review for Eurobricks a while back. A photo from 2007, if I remember correctly, with my old layout of all the sets. It's difficult to see, but you get the idea. Finally, here is my current layout atop my wardrobe (keeps it out of the way). I have the castle and stuff on there, Knight Bus, Hogwarts Express & the Burrow in the wardrobe itself, then Diagon Alley on my bedside cab. Again, sorry about the quality on that one, for an 8MP camera, the iPhone 4S' camera isn't that special. Hope this gives you an idea of how they look together. Quote
Flobnomdob Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Wish I had all those sets! Thoe pictures are a bit low quality, but I'd love some close-ups! Quote
SuperChris Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Wish I had all those sets! Thoe pictures are a bit low quality, but I'd love some close-ups! Like I say, most of those photos are all from 2007. I'm seriously thinking of rebuilding all my sets over the Christmas holidays, I'll be sure to take some them! Also, I can take some of the new sets, if you want? Quote
Skipper Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Whoa that's an awesome collection. They really went all out on the modularity concept of the first castle (even if the attachments were pretty ugly). Dumbledore's Office, the only one I own, is absolutely fantastic. Interesting to look over the evolution of LEGO Hogwarts, things have changed a lot since 2001. And more pictures would be great - there's a tutorial on deeplinking stuff here. Quote

I loved the main part of the castle, but when you add in the extra sets (like the forbidden corridor) it really looks out of place. And I know how to deep link thanks, it's just last time I was told to link directly, due to the high quality of some of the images. I'll certainly try and get some more pictures! Quote
Salty Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 OP, check out YouTube. Search Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts and check out a poster named BrickQueen. She has a video posted of all the sets put together. It's good. Quote
Brickity Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 It would be SUPER cool to sort to mix all the pieces and build one complete and awesome Hogwarts:) Fun stuff! Thanks for sharing the pics! Quote
