Yatkuu Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 For some reason I was in a post apocalyptic mood... and I can't stop being inspired by the Hazmat fig face! That movie was really good, I should probably get the book... Quote
zero1312 Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Well done!!! I see some clever use of parts all over the moc.... Quote

Matn Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Great scene, Yatkuu. I like the fact that you didn't just build a road, but even a part of the bridge to have the figures standing on it. The figures are instantly recognizable, the car is also nice. The scene and photography fit the mood of the film very well. The Road is a good film, I always like a good post-apocalyptic film, definitely the more realistic ones. Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Excellent aftermath creation, the dead guy thought the windscreen nice touch.....Brick On 'Yatkuu' ! Quote
TheDarkBrick Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Excellent aftermath creation, the dead guy thought the windscreen nice touch.....Brick On 'Yatkuu' ! I bet the car was a Toyota Quote
brickmack Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Cool. The car looks nice, though it's really tiny. I like the various plants growing in the street and pillars, nice touch. Quote
Yatkuu Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 Thanks for the feedbacks! The car looks nice, though it's really tiny. I agree, the problem is that I wanted to fit this on a 16*16 base and that's why I end up with a 4 studs wide car, I tried a 6-wide but it was not working. Quote
The Batman Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 (edited) Great little MOC, personally I like the little homeless guy, no offense intended !! One question though, how did you manage to create the shopping cart, it looks like there is a rubber band around it ??? Help Edited November 14, 2011 by The Batman Quote
Yatkuu Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 One question though, how did you manage to create the shopping cart, it looks like there is a rubber band around it ??? Help The cart is made with 3 of these that are held together by a one of these (+ other pieces in between). I'm not too fond of this type of "build" but I really could not find a better way to reproduce a shopping cart at a MF scale. Quote
Hollander Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Awesome creation! I really like that you made the whole bridge instead of just a road. The apoalyptic feel is great, and the use of colors even increase this feeling. Quote
Darkdragon Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 This is an excellent build. Great characters and details. I also especially love the cart. Quote
