Why would he care whether you vote for him or not? At this point, your vote changes little, if anything, where the amounts of votes are concerned. He's just pointing out that all you've done is follow someone else's reasoning, and that you cast what is/was essentially at this/that time a useless vote against Croc.

Maybe he's a scum or a neutral that has a lethal Night Action, and he wants to be able to use it once. Not that I think that that's the case, but there are still plenty of reasons why he could be lying. I was being sarcastically, hence my "" expression. And lying might buy him more than a day, assuming he's scum and Catwoman's town, it's not yet clear we'll vote him out tomorrow, and even if we do and he doesn't have a lethal action, he'd still have managed to get an innoncent criminal lynched. And if I was scum and about to be lynched, I'd lie as hell. I know he could be lying.
