Well, I read on the 2012 sets topic that the new kits were making their way into LEGO Stores, so I ran out, grabbed this and a couple other sets, and made video reviews as fast as I could! Here is the one for the Car and Caravan (4435)!

If a Moderator could embed the video, that would be great!

Also - if anyone makes a picture review, I will edit the OP so that can be featured up here.

Not bad. The car is cool, but the interior of the trailer is a bit of a let down. It's too similar to the rv. Granted, they can only do so much with the space, something else would've been nice. Don't ask me what, but something... That was a neat little review, nice job.

Hi there, nice review! I didn't look too closely to the video, because i like the suprprise of opening a new set... but it gave me enough joy to buy this set as soon as i can get my hands on it!! I will visit the LegoStore in Oberhausen on november 30 ... maybe they have some of the sets there.........

Another great review! Like the Garbage Truck, this one wasn't one of my favorites when I saw the images. I was still going to pick it up for my daughter though, since this is a set I know she'll love. Seeing your review, I've now grown to like this set as well. The car looks very similar to the new police car, I'd like to see those compared side by side. The still photos made the trailer look a bit odd, but watching your video I didn't get that same feeling, so it must have been the angle. That latching design is brilliant as well. Thanks again for the great reviews!

I was only a little kid when Lego made a similar set in the 90s so I guess this sort of makes up for it. I have a thing for those "regular" civilian vehicles and definitely liked this set when I saw the preliminary pics. It's similar to the camper but still enjoyable it seems. Hope it isn't too expensive in Canada.

2012 is the year of the Classic Town set reboot. This 4435 set is the reboot of the 6590 vacation camper set from 1988. Looks great with all the improvement such as:-

1) the lady can finally sit in the same car as the driver

2) There is more room in the camper

3) Creative locking mechanism for the camper

4) Camper now comes with bike, LCD tv and stove

5) .. plus sausages, 2 mugs and a camp fire to spend the night!

The only bad point is the car does not have any doors! But I think it is easily fixed provided I can find some yellow door pieces.
