I am working on something MLCAD. I have been using it for years , but, never ran into an issue like this. I mostly build with bricks and plates, with Technic pins here and there. But, Technic Beams with Technic Beams is a pain.

The model I am working on needs some 4 x 6 Technic Bent Beams with a 53.13 degree bend, part number 6629. I am trying to line up more Beams and pins. But, the other pieces are no being very cooperative!

When I play with the numbers in the X, Y, Z, and angle fields, I get all kinds wierd-ness. Play with one number and the piece changes on 2 axes.

Too bad there wasn't a super fine grid for it?

Hope I explained it well enough for someone to be help me out.

Thanks, Jamie

This is one of the bad point's of mlcad :sceptic:,what i would do is download SR 3D builder and use sr3d to build the tricky bit and then go back to mlcad for the rest.:classic: (SR3D reads mlcad files and vice-versa.)

SR3D Builder

How ever if you rather stay with mlcad download a clear template of a protractor from Google images to use as a guide.

Right click > enter position / rotation > enter number in angle box.

Hope this helps. :sweet:
