TooMuchCaffeine Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 On a bit of a micro kick at the moment and thought I'd try a bit of Star Wars... Flickr link Quote
sharky Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Neat. Definitely recognizable as Echo Base even without the AT-ATs. Nice job. Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Very nice, I the AT-AT's and that ion cannon ! Oh, and this should live in the Star Wars forum 'TMC'.....may the Eurobrick be with you ! Quote
Big Cam Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 I love it, those micro AT-AT's look fantastic, I'm always amazed how people can MOC things so small and still keep them relatively to scale. The base itself looks good too, very creative use of parts. I wonder if this would be better off in the SW forum Quote
Parrothead Rasmus Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Great job! This really isa fantastic microbuild. I'd love to see more like this. And, yes, I think this belongs in the Star Wars forum. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 I love clean builds, so I love the studlessness of this build. The AT-ATs are a little on the fat side, but everything else looks great. Quote
lego envy Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 That is actually very awesome.... Nice clean build.. Quote
M<0><0<DSWIM Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Beautiful SNOT work! I love the base, especially how you made the doors. Quote
wokajablocka Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Very nice studless build. Shame you missed out on entering the ESP Community build as it would have made a great contribution. Altough the scale to the walkers is slightly off you've done a awsome job of creating them at this scale. Now just need a microsclae T-47 . Quote
TooMuchCaffeine Posted November 9, 2011 Author Posted November 9, 2011 Thanks guys. Glad you like it. Quote
TheDarkness Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I'm not usually a fan of microscales, but this is one awesome piece of work that I love! Well done! Quote
Delta 38 Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Wow, nice! If only the upcoming Hoth board game could be remotely like this. Quote
kciR Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 (edited) Nice build again! I noticed in your flickr stream that you're using the grey dishes quite often lately, is this another challenge like the tan arches? Or just coincidence? Edited November 9, 2011 by kciR Quote
Vindice Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 i'm not usually a fan of microscales either but this is really good! Quote
Solscud007 Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 As others said. This looks fantastic. Quote
Hollander Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Wow, just amazing. So simple, but yet great. I love no-studs, and as I pretty much suck in micro scale myself, it's really nice to see such a nice creation in this scale. Quote
TooMuchCaffeine Posted November 9, 2011 Author Posted November 9, 2011 Nice build again! I noticed in your flickr stream that you're using the grey dishes quite often lately, is this another challenge like the tan arches? Or just coincidence? Yeah, the grey dish is my piece in the current round of Iron Builder vs Lino. Nicer bit to use than that tan arch - I hated that piece. Quote
Praiter Yed Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 A really lovely micro-build with lots of great parts usage throughout, but the hangar door is my favourite Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Whoa, very nice generator there. Good work with all the little details on this. Quote
Ackbar Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I can only agree with the rest - lovely microscale. Instant recognizable scene and that must be the smallest yet very accurate AT-AT's I've ever seen. Those droid arms as legs are perfect in both angel and shape - great idea. Quote
Mr Man Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 On a bit of a micro kick at the moment and thought I'd try a bit of Star Wars... Wow I can't believe I missed this beautiful scene/MOC TooMuchCaffeine. The smoothness of it all coupled with the micro AT-AT's, it's fantastic. Quote
Tachyon Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Wow I can't believe I missed this beautiful scene/MOC TooMuchCaffeine. The smoothness of it all coupled with the micro AT-AT's, it's fantastic. That has got to be the coolest microscale scene if ever seen Quote
