Hello everyone! This is my first Space MOC, built from a sparse selection of extra pieces I've accrued from my childhood. Not being able to collect the early-nineties Space subthemes because of my infancy, I was first exposed to Blacktron II while digging through my fourth grade teacher's LEGO bin during free time during class. Enamored, I secretly kidnapped two Blacktron II minifigures and a SPII plate, and never returned them (I was quite mischievous!). As I became an avid collector, I made the purchase of several Space Police II minifigures off of bricklink, and was inspired to create this MOC. I am still a novice, but I would appreciate candid feedback as I highly admire the array of creations that are on this website, brickshelf and flickr. I appreciate it!

The RR93 (Rocket Rover) Polecat is a second-generation Mobile Rocket Launcher developed in collaboration with the Space Police redesign of 1992. The buggy was noted for its usage of LPIR radar, versatile rocket capabilities, high mobility and its semi-enclosed cockpit.

Designed from the chassis of the R92 Ferret, the RR93 was developed alongside Armored Personnel Carrier, Reconnaissance, Criminal Containment, and Railgun R92 variants to combat the rise in Blacktron terrorist activity. The rockets of the Polecat were designed for both surface-to-air and surface-to-surface usage.

The Polecat was specifically developed for "hit and run" high-speed mobility with a versatile rocket armament. Because of its lack of close-range capabilities, it is virtually defenseless against ground and specific air targets. Its expensive equipment, small load-out and fragile body is compensated for its high speed capability, easily-repairable frame, and the option of additional composite armor parts. It weighs 1,150 lbs (522 kg).

The RR93 is currently no longer in major use, although not retired. Because of the decline of terrorism and the rise of urban and organized crime in exospheric developments, the Space Police currently reserve the vehicle for trade and potential conversion. It is known that many of the vehicles have been scrapped for recycling and conservation of materials in developing more modern equipment.

I hope you like it! I apologize for the lack of photo quality... I used a camera phone and it isn't the greatest.

Have a wonderful day!

I really like the front wheel supports, simple but not something I would have thought of! I'd like to see a few more pics, maybe a top view too?

Anyhoo it's a great little moc, I look forward to seeing more space stuff from you

Nice Space Police II themed MRLS you have there... While SP II wasn't exactly my favorite Space theme, I did like the fact that it brought back the Classic Space coloring of Gray with Green windshields.
