peddi0027 Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 I just want to say a big hello to the forum. I am 38 and into Lego since my youth. I started with classic bricks, the yellow castle and classic space. I had the black technic auto chassis and learned a lot about physics, even more than in school. Last year I build an oil rig in city size. I will post some photos later on. Right now i am into technics, because I am gonna get the unimog 8110 for Christmas. Hope we have fun and I can give back something to the community! Quote

Holodoc Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Hi peddi and welcome aboard Eurobricks! I just want to say a big hello to the forum. I am 38 and into Lego since my youth. The only strange thing is: Your father had the idea to give you this outstanding present? Cool dad! Especially when thinking of the age your father must have. Way to go! What part of Germany are you from exactly? And one curious sidenote: I assume your avatar choice doesn't even come close to your real look, does it? Looking forward to the oilrig photos! Quote
peddi0027 Posted November 4, 2011 Author Posted November 4, 2011 Classic space... those were the times... That's what I started with, too. And I got a lot of CS! I equipped my LL 928 with an accomodation module, which can be used when the car is transported. I found out that the litte radio station can be packed into the space ship. Quote
Holodoc Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Wow - the fabulous 928! I recall selling this in my dark ages and having to buy another copy off ebay UK some years ago. With tooth srcatches on it... But at least now I can call all sets of 1979-1984 Classic Space my own. Quote
Miss Kyle Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Hello peddi, welcome to Eurobricks! Great to have another one from the Homeworld on board :) Enjoy the forums! Quote
