The Ruin

A small ruin that can be used as scenery and to play with! I didn't see anyone really bothering with ruins, so ill be making more with time. This is the first in the series, but in reality this is a unreleased (and updated) moc from a few years ago. I just never released it due to not having the time. Pictures are to big, so please go to the brickshelf page for that

The ruin was designed as medieval ruined structure, but can easily be used for pretty much any theme. Since I made it fit to it's role in any theme

Hope you guys like it!

My small group of wolfpack bandits need somewhere to hide. Something like this would be ideal :D

as one of the many ways to use this moc indeed! I been told that some people use this as tourist attraction for miniland or even in sci-fi. So yeah, many ideas how to use this!:laugh:

Off to a good start. I feel it could benefit from a bit more scenery, as it seems a little empty at the moment. The ground could use some colour variation showing mud etc.

Showing mud, hmm... well I could see if I can do something in that. But for scenery, what exactly do you mean? What is missing in your eyes?

Very nice - simple but very clean and quite visually pleasing. You might want to experiment further with things like uneven ground, dirt and rocks, vines, broken flagstones or cobbles and perhaps an overhanging tree - these things can add more character to your creation. It might be nice to see some more of the surrounding countryside as well - as it is, it could equally be in a forest, or a field, or on a rocky outcrop. But of course if your aim was to produce something simple that others can use and customise, then it's mission accomplished!

It was meant to be simple indeed, simple and usable to anyone's imagenation! So please feel free to use this moc. (just not for LEGO itself, unless they talk to me first about a deal  ) Anyways, those tips you given are very handy for a next model. I was thinking about a ruin on a hill top with a cave or something. I can use a nice tree for that and uneven ground will be a given then.

But for now, first a few simple ones to give ideas to other builders
