Voodoo Hand Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 (edited) Hi again, i'm peeking in once again after being gone for a while due too much work. New website is being worked on as well for that matter Anyways... Intercity class mBK 381 Koploper This model was already known to some of you, I am aware of that. I however released new pictures and NEW color variations based on the real deal. Besides that I didn't do much then adding a few stickers. I will however come up with further updates in the future NOTE: Pictures are too big to post here, so please use the links on the bottom of this post please! Name: Intercity class mBK 381 (plan Z) Country: Netherlands (Holland) First in Service: 1977 Author: DS9 (yes it's a nick I use as well) Japan has also a version of this train which looks very simular to the orriginal, this version is called - JR East class 351 "Super Asuza" - What it has: - 6 passenger seats - 1 driver seat - 4 sets of 2 doors (each side 2 sets of doors) - door to wagon with glass - thanks to the length of the model bug fix it has 4 studs more lenght! - new passenger wagon for 8 passengers (same length as train) - 2 new versions that exists! ("KLM" version + "de lage landen" version) Sorry, I did not include any stickers to complete them. - Frontdoors added - driver doors added (each side 1 door) - 2 Extra windows added (front of train, before traindoors) - magnet for the 'head' of the train has been made, but it's optional. You decide if you add it or not, maybe in the future ill make a correct add-on for this. - Wagon001 has a new floor and that fixed the problem with the hight of the model. Voodoo Hand Posted November 7, 2011 Author Posted November 7, 2011 (edited) Update! I posted a new version! It's the train that was colored to Olympic Games style, version 1 (early version). I was planning to add also stickers, but for some reason the sticker generator fails in that at this time. So ill be updating that later I guess. Duq Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Clever use of parts for the cab. I think this is the best Lego-City-style representation of this train that I've seen sofar. The mention of its Japanese cousin is also interesting; I never knew it existed. Quote

roamingstop Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 It reminds me a lot of the models from Blokbricks (look for the Locomotives section) but somehow this seems to be better. Quote
Voodoo Hand Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 It reminds me a lot of the models from Blokbricks (look for the Locomotives section) but somehow this seems to be better. I noticed my version is longer, different bricks for doors and roof. Also I am pretty sure you can not place a minifig in his cabin, you can with mine It looks like we used also different versions of the train and his versions does not even have a single engine, so could be that he didn't even think about how to solve that problem either Quick cutt-out picture for the front of this train: Quote
