IAmWillGibson Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 (edited) Hello, I have a Minifigure set from the Fairview Mall LEGO store opening that I'm willing to part with on account of it apparently being valuable, and me having very little fluid fundage. The set is a happy chef, an orange-dressed woman, and a slick-haired business guy. The set is #220. It's hard to find an appropriate price for this thing, but based on Bricklink and eBay, and then lowering it a bit so as not to look greedy, I'd be willing to part with it for 100 bucks [plus shipping]. Let me know if this is exciting or exorbitant. Edited November 2, 2011 by IAmWillGibson
Flare Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 The black suit is not a new torso, I have one of those from a different set.

Flare Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Ha, I know now. I looked through Bricklink and found a bunch of them. Mostly chauffeurs, apparently. Yup. I think I got mine in one of the modular buildings. Anyways, good luck selling this minifig set.
IAmWillGibson Posted November 19, 2011 Author Posted November 19, 2011 Maybe there's less demand for these boutiquey figures than I'd assumed.
Cara Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Maybe there's less demand for these boutiquey figures than I'd assumed. If these are like another grand opening set that I have their backs will be printed with the name of the store and the year, so although the front looks like figures available elsewhere, they are unique to a collector.
IAmWillGibson Posted December 12, 2011 Author Posted December 12, 2011 (edited) I'm giving this thread a bump. I am open to offers on the set. It's really quite nice and such, but with the season and things, selling is smarter I think. Edited December 24, 2011 by IAmWillGibson
Zeya Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 I don't think anyone has mentioned here. Their torsos have a special printing on the back, right? I know they do for other openings.

IAmWillGibson Posted June 1, 2012 Author Posted June 1, 2012 Resuscitating this thread on the off chance someone wants these figures. I'm open to trade as well. These minifigs need a new home! I also have one of the Hulk polybags, too [which was probably silly for me to have gotten, but it came with my Orc Forge].
