zeki Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 The biggest MOC of mine so far, presented on Kocke.si event Kockefest 7 in Ljubljana, Slovenija. The size of stadium is 3 x 5 baseplates (32x32). Stadium can hold up to 450 minifigs, on the pictures around 300 minifigs are present. The corner tribunes are build at 45 degree angle so that the train can travel around them. And here are the pictures. Entire stadium. Minifig view. Another angle, some minifigs seem to be too excited. The stadium in our club City. More pics: Brickshelf Thanks to kocke.si members: Anakin for photos, Subix & Coach for extra minifigs. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 AWESOME creation 'zeki', though might I suggest a high fence of sorts along the road side there.....ticket sales wouldn't that great in this situation ? Still it's a great MOC, only one I saw with lighting and retractable (PF) roof beats it. Brick On Kick On 'zeki' Quote
streifen Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Nice stadium! Agree with LT on the fencing on the open side unless that road is the stadium service road. then those yellow buildings will be part of the stadium infrastructure. Good crowd u have there too! and a streaker! Quote
Toadtorrent Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 I like the streaker and the police...nice touch!! Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 This is quite the stadium 'zeki'. Its huge! Very nicely done Quote
Jeff Huntington Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Very nicely done, Zeki. The only thing it's missing are scoreboards. I really wish LEGO would come out with new sets for the World Cup again. The ones from 1998 are a favorite part of my collection. Quote
KyleJohnson11 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 zeki - I really like your stadium. From the pictures, it really fits well within your city. I like how you did the lights as well! I am interested as to how you built the 45 degree wedge for the stadium. I am currently in the planning phase for a baseball stadium and will be building a 45 degree section on a few portions. Any detailed pictures or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kyle Quote
SalvoBrick Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I like your stadium, not too big, not too small, the right size for that diorama. Quote
HighFlyer Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 (edited) Brilliant stadium, it looks great when integrated into the layout of your awesome looking town! The streaker scene actually made me LOL. Edited November 13, 2011 by HighFlyer Quote
