G'day all,

I bought an unsorted lot of Lego from a work mate the other day and I know there are some older bricks and plates mixed in with current generation parts.

I primarily collect Technic so I have no need for the parts in question.

I have attached an image of two plates that have me stumped. I initially thought they were not Lego; however they do have Lego written in the studs on the front. I cannot find a part number stamped in the back.

The square holes on the back is something I had not seen before.

Regarding the colour of the plates; would the colour of the plates been white originaly and yellowed badly over time?

Has anyone posted images of the front and back of bricks and plates to help identify older components?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jamie

This would be what you're looking for, and yes, it's just yellowed white bricks. :classic:

Thanks for that.

So Bricklink just appends 'old' onto the existing part number to identify the older varients; handy to know.
