I don't want to spend 270 bucks on the set, because I have a large collection of Technic bricks already - I just want the robotic bricks. Thank you! Quote

Hi, The set of Mindstorms is actually more a set of NXT, and sensors than a set of Technic parts, so those 270 bucks are probably going to be the cost of buying the components separately. Most people that buy a Mindstorms set have other Technic parts, or buy the companion set which includes just technic parts. Thanks, Noam Quote
