obsidianheart Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 A lot of your first-post design work reminds me of Transformers: Animated. It's mechanical, yet chunky and with a lot of pleasing curves that do not detract from the implied metallic nature of the subjects. Those second-page character illustrations really blew me away, though! Quote

Antrozek Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 oops sorry double post. but had to update with mark surge also, own thought, I don't think the savage planet heroes are 3.0, neither the new 2012 ones are 4.0 or 5.0 they are still 2.0 heroes, but with different equipment depending of their mission I guess also, Surge was originally supossed to look like a Rick Dom (mobile suit) with the big legs, pretty nice for space travel Quote
MakutaNocturn Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I just don't like the style, mostly of the legs. That's all what I can said. I don't like it. Quote
Aanchir Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I like your very athletic-looking design for Mark Surge, and the creative design of his electrical weapon! Just as in the set, the design of his lower legs and torso help tie his design to those of his teammates. Quote
Kalhiki Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Surge! Hm. Not my favorite piece, but still good. Maybe it just seems too... organic? I think that may be it. Some of the curves just don't seem to fit my liking. However, I do love the gun designs and the backpack. Kalhiki Quote
Antrozek Posted January 10, 2012 Author Posted January 10, 2012 Funny no one ever noticed that the base of all my current designs are influenced by Mobile suits no gundam fans in eurobricks by far :c Quote
Logan McOwen Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 OH NO, OH NONONONO, YOU FOUND ME GOTCHA! Thank you. However, I'd like an answer from LewiMOC. I was referring to the fact that I recognise who Antrozek is from her artwork, as I have seen it elsewhere. Quote

Kalhiki Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Bulky Bulk is bulky. Sorry, had to say that. Still amazing all around. Your art reminds me of the character designs from Transformers: Prime which is awesome. Kalhiki Quote
ZORK64 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Just like Kalhiki your designs reminds me of Transformers: Prime as well. Although his lower legs seem a bit too large in comparison to the rest of his proportions IMHO. But maybe I'm just saying that because I rather tend to build characters with bulkier arms, so yeah... Oh, I am the only one who noticed how BIG the armour in front of Bulk's crotch is? Quote
