You know, I was drawn in my your simple and to the point title and I'm happy I stopped by.

The scene is great, your depth of field works really well here. Is the entire background made of LEGO? If so I'd love to see a shout of the entire set up.

It looks great.

The entire scene is made up of 100% genuine LEGO. I will try to get you a picture of the entire scene at a different angle tomorrow or the day after :sweet:

Glad you enjoyed it.

The posing is excellent, as are the purist figs and the sand layering. My only gripe is that's some awfully clean sand for a bunch of guys killing eachother all day on, though...needs more blood.

Thank you everyone. :classic:

I don't think that I will ever look at that hair with the same eyes again :)

I like it, atmosphere. Is it part of a larger moc?

It is really a forced perspective shot, so any other view wouldn't look as good.

Is that part of the MOC I saw at LEGO-world (Zwolle, NL)? Excellent shot. It is simple, but captures the atmosphere perfectly! I do agree though... I want more blood!

Unfortunately it is not, sadly I have never attended a LEGO convention :cry2: Although I am hoping to go to BrickFair in 2012...

Thanks!

Great MOC, nice and simple. Despite its seemingly simplicity, I depicts a gladiator fight really well. But having watched Spartacus (and of course the legendary movie 'Gladiator') I can't help but add my voice to the public screaming for more blood! Blood and gore would really make this creation stand out. As BigCam already asked, is it possible to see pictures of the entire build, so we can see how it looks in real life?

I just wanted to echo what everyone was saying - simple and very nicely done.

It's one of those on the first look it's very plain, then you see all the little details and how flushed out it is.

And now seeing how it's actually done it makes the build that much more impressive to me.

Really nicely done sir!

This is a great MOC, I like the Gladiator mini fig he's one of my favourets.default_thumbup.gif

That's a very cleaver way of making a really large looking set out. It would be good to mix the gladiator with the Roman mini figure from series 6 when it comes out, you could make more historical scenes.

Great Moc and very well thought out default_thumbup.gifdefault_laugh_new.gif

No wonder they fight like that, the guy in the helmet called the other a girl with that hair !

Excellent scene 'Flare', and fantastic scaling to effect !

Brick On Fight On.....to the death !( or  )

Thank you everyone for your compliments and comments - I really appreciate it :sweet: (I think this might be one of my most popular MOCs :cry_happy: )...
