Burf2000 Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 So I always wanted to build something massive with big wheels and a few weeks ago I posted asking how to make big wheels. Got some great feedback and so built this Not sure what to do with it yet, I thinking of build a robot body on top, just a smallish one (compared to George). My wife said to make it in to a drag car lol. I also improved it a bit since this video so it does not jam. Notice the body is old grey! Gor that stuff is expensive Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 I got a great idea. Take off one of those wheels, stick it under a stream of water, hook up a dynamo to it and you got power. Or Buy a hamster? Quote
DLuders Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Yes, I bet Sariel would like this for his hamster "Lucius"! Quote
Burf2000 Posted October 27, 2011 Author Posted October 27, 2011 I have a hamster and he is not going anywhere near this. Quote
timslegos Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 wow those wheels are huge!! I cant wait to see what you put on top of it. tim Quote
Illuwatar Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Looks like the wheels of an old steamboat. Just add the boat and you are done... Quote
Finntech Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 You could use this consept to build huge ferris wheel. Quote
roamingstop Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 It would be interesting to see how a set of three or four wheels could make a massive rock climber... but seriously well designed! Quote
Wiseman_2 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 You could try turning it into one of these Quote

Concept Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Lego should be used for the forces of good not evil lol I am thinking a table top with cup holders to sit above the wheels. Some IR receivers, motors etc and you can have a techinc waiter :) Quote

I am thinking of making a cylinder body instead of the normal square. I keep people updated on the progress Quote
