I only have some tiling, stickering of phone faces, a custom minifig and a keyboard tile to complete this.

Comments as usual are very welcome.....keep watching everyone !

When I saw the title I thought to myself, "how big does a lego cell phone store need to be?" Evidently not very big lol. Nice job, I'm looking forward to seeing it completed with stickers.

It's pretty rare to come across an 8-wide store, or in fact, any 8-wide building, yet this small, compact design is perfect for a mobile phone store!

LT, I actually think it's too small, it looks like you could barely fit a fig in there. Maybe 2 or 3 studs wider, IMO.

Otherwise it would be ok for a kiosk store, and the sticker is spot on.

Hmn... I wonder if 10 studs wide would look better?

Comparison "lightningtiger"?? :classic:

Thanks everyone for your replies, but there is method to my madness.....remember I also had a shoe repair/key cutting guy in the shopping centre ? (yep, that will be another 8 wide  )

Keep watching EVERY MOC everyone.....things always change ! :smug::wink:

Nice work - didn't realise Vodafone did business in Australia too!

It is a little on the small side, but I understand that it was supposed to be part of your shopping centre, and also I think it's actually quite cute. The phones on the wall are a nice touch - I hate how the alarms on those things go off so easily when you're just examining a phone - perhaps the alarm sound brick from that old Agents set would add a nice bit of realism to it eh?

And your shopping centre has been shelved? this is bad! I enjoyed looking at that MOC.

Thanks for the reply 'Rocketbilly', sadly yes, the shopping centre is gone but on bright side I have a long and full (or will be soon) main street....don't forget to check here for more images......Main Street Of New Mannum.

Basically it's one shop front spilt down the middle....one side mobile phone retailer and the other shoe repairs/key cutting.

Keep those comments coming everyone, I very grateful for them. :sweet:

Very nice, these lowely shops makes me smile all the time :classic: , and the stickers are good too.

Thanks 'Alibabo' for your kind words, now I have found my minifigs to go in them a young dude to run the mobile phone store and a hot looking girl....a little Goth like in a way who runs her dad's old shoe repair business. Yes, they are pictured meeting in front of the post office in one of my latest photo's posted. (Yes, they are an item  )

Thanks 'LT12V' for your kind words, I have created sticker templates for the mobile phones and will have them done for the final main street post which will be photo intensive.

Keep watching everyone ! :classic:
