Thank you. I never really thought of myself as an "idiot", though :'-) . Perhaps that is something I should investigate. Although it is true that you can usually build a set by buying the specific parts, there is something to be said for having a complete "collection" of actual sets. Seeing as these two are not available in the U.S., I was forced to become an "idiot". Oh well, what can I say? Ciao! And Leg Godt, of course!

You're most likely not going to open them, and have them as a collector would. All the bricks on bricklink can't buy you a sealed bag :-P I think Nate just looked at it as a parts point of view, whereas you looked at the set as a whole
natelite Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 hehe, didn't know it was going to be an EBer. :-P yeah, i'm not part of the fan club that oogles at lego boxes or bags. especially not the current boxes which are chucked after they are opened. i rather have the bricks inside. :-P
saturncoupe1999 Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 hehe, didn't know it was going to be an EBer. :-P yeah, i'm not part of the fan club that oogles at lego boxes or bags. especially not the current boxes which are chucked after they are opened. i rather have the bricks inside. :-P Not to worry! I simply enjoy ( sometimes at a huge cost :-( ) the opportunity to collect, and BUILD, the sets in the themes that I think are cool. I don't belong to the fan club that oogles Lego boxes or bags, either. The set is assembled, and the package goes into the trash. But I do save the instructions, naturally! To many investors, collecting is the goal. But to me, it is the joy of building, displaying, and admiring the sets that keeps me going ( and spending ). If anyone here knows where I can get two more pairs of these polybag sets, please contact me at : saturncoupe1999@yahoo.com Thanks! Oops! Contact me if you wish, but I already found the sets at BrickLink. Thanks, anyway!
ReZourceman Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Whoa, $29.99. Well at least both of you are very happy! *sweet*
Turaga of Force Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Do you have any more for trade or sale? I collect EF :) And, I see some discussion about weather opening sets or not, it seems that everyone here opens. I like getting them sealed but even if they are very valuable I open them-why not, if I'm never going to sell them?! XD
