obakesan Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Hi, I would like to present my first MOC, be easy on me , as it's my first real MOC in a long time, especially with SNOT techniques which are new to me. The inspiration for this came about one day looking at the rounded slope and circular plates thinking it might make a nice saucer section, thus this USS Enterprise was born in the fires of Lego Digital Designer. I like this shot, side rear. Front Side Side Rear Front looking down Top down Thanks for looking and hope you enjoyed this. Quote
gcanik Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 For the size very nice detailing, espically like the body and narcells. My only critique is the round saucer section seems a tad small compared to the body. Quote
fred67 Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 (edited) I have the same opinion as gcanik; it's really neat except the saucer section is a bit small for the rest of the ship. That's a toughie, because those quarter plates go from 4x4 to 6x6, which would be too big. You can get 10x10 radar dishes, though. Edited October 25, 2011 by fred67 Quote
TenorPenny Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 The level of detail is great, though. I love the shuttle bay. Quote
obakesan Posted October 25, 2011 Author Posted October 25, 2011 Thanks ;) I know what you mean about the saucer being small, felt that myself, but I started with that section first as liked the roundness, then the rest came together. Cheers, Quote
Bob Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 That's very good, actually! My only suggestion is, as others have said, to make the saucer section a pit larger. I'd also recommend raising it above the engine nacelles, or making it at the same level. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Excellent little creation, though yes, the saucer section a little broader. Brick On where no man has gone before 'obakesan' ! Quote
Hiawatha Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Great MOC!Its very detalied for a small creation! Quote
