TheLonelySquireOfGothos Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Hey folks, I'm back to Lego after a bit of a break. The other day, I decided to try to build 7127 - AT-ST since I figured I'd probably have the pieces to build it. But, after only a few minutes I realized 1. it was going to take too long to find the pieces and 2. that set really does look like crap. So, I went about building my own AT-ST, and I think it turned out pretty well. Please note, I didn't make this to try to improve on previous AT-ST's from Lego, I just wanted one of my own without paying ridiculous eBay prices. So, let me know what you think, thanks! (Sorry about the poor quality pics.) Quote
Mr Man Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Could you take some pics next to the model AT-ST you got there? So far the legs look a bit plain, but the head is quite good. Quote
wokajablocka Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 This is not bad for a first attempt but I think you could get a better overall shape of the top. You have a lovely model to refrence. Yes I agree with Mr Man, you could get a bit more detailing on the legs as well. Maybe some SNOT simialr to the battle of endor AT-ST and small dishes on the leg joints but I know your parts are somthing to consider when MOCing. Quote
Ceroknight Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Nice Starwars figures you got there in the background I recommend you make the body angle downwards a bit like in your model Quote
The Legonater Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 (edited) It looks good for a basic model, but the legs could use some more details, as said, and the head is slanted the wrong way. Edited October 25, 2011 by The Legonater Quote
