XR7 Mini Rally Car

The past year I made two RC Rally cars. Both were great but didn't have enough speed for me, the solution?? Easy, make a smaller and lighter car.

This new XR7 car has 16 studs wide, 29 studs length and weighs only 550gr.

It has 2XL motors for drive and a M motor for steering with return-to-center.

The transmission is very simple to get the best possible efficiency. The final gear rato is 1:2.78, and max. speed is 4 kph (2.5mph)

I used XL motors and not RC because in a competition in Madrid we only could use PF motors.

Edit: I forgot something. I am making building instructions, I have a file with all parts and steps, but I dont know to put in it flex parts, in this case rigid hose... If anybody wants to help me please ask by pm ;)

Very cool little car. What amazes me most is that all the features fit in such a small pachage and it even has suspension. Love it !!

Its so small! Haha great small little car. It has speed but enough power to get over small obstacles.

Now this is kind of car I like! Very efficient and seems to be very rugged, no power loss for frictioning gears. I'm definitely going to try build this one!
