jof Posted September 10, 2006 Author Posted September 10, 2006 Is this offer in the Legoland shops or the Lego Brand stores as well? I don't have a nearby shop, but I would guess it is specific to the park. In fact it may not even be a real lego offer, but one made by the park owners since they are now 'out sourced' to a company called merlin or something like that. (And don't we know it - rise of non lego rides, money in slot devices for remote controlled boats/lorries and toddler sit on rides. No proper lego toy with kids meals) Normally only get this offer in the couple of weeks before christmas at their 'big shop' as they call it, but this seams to apply until the park closes at the end of october. I will ask them for more information next time I go, such as is there limited availability etc. (probably next weekend) Jof Quote

jof Posted September 10, 2006 Author Posted September 10, 2006 do you know if the pick a brick is included?i would be willing to buy parts for 50 pounds or more between this and christmas, a bit like we did with the trains, remember? offcourse, it depends on the parts they're having... I don't think the pick a brick is included, but as I say I will try & get confirmation when I go & its not so busy. I think it only applied to the big shop & the shop down by the harbour. Certainly does not include discount shop! And would be limited to what they had in stock, so my gut feel is to wait until they get the new x-wings in stock. Should be easy to sell on ebay at christmas. Shame I don't have a posh phone with email/internet on it. I could see an online ordering frenzy taking place. Jof Quote
