As pointed out on this Eurobricks Frontpage post, Railbricks Issue 10 is available for free download. On pages 12-15, there is an interesting article entitled "Are Trains Becoming Technic?" The author (Didier Enjary) states that "Train wheels are Technic parts" and "A LEGO Technic train is possible...." There is a Freight Wagon railcar that contains ~75% Technic parts; one can download the building instructions here.

We've seen AT-AT Motorized Walker sets and Power Functions elements incorporated into other Lego themes. Therefore, is it any surprise that TECHNIC is growing in popularity? :classic:

I actually slightly disagree with the author. I think that trains are becomeing technic as the new mode or locamotion is PF parts. Also i was fascinated by the opening doors on the coaches! I didnt think it was possible to fit all that into 6 studs and still have an interior.
