TypoCorrecto Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 LEGO Shop at Home double charged me for an item that was on backorder when I ordered it. I was double charged when the item became available and shipped. I called LEGO Customer Service and they said they did catch the error and that the money will be refunded by tomorrow. They also said that I am not the only error they caught. Anyone that has made an order at SAH should check their bank or credit card accounts for a possible double charge and inform LEGO of the error. Quote

Usually when things are pre ordered or back ordered, they get an authorization on your card, it's a simple mistake when they then get another and the original gets put through as well. I had no worries reading this thread title since TLG is number one in terms of customer service. Glad it was a quick painless resolution. Quote
