Reagen Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Greetings, Lego fans and forum members. I'm Reagen from Japan, and I just started Lego lately. Well, accurately I did have some Lego when I was a kid, but as I grow up I forgot about them. Now, 10 years later, I'm drawn back to Lego trying to find a good Christmas gift for my girlfriend. I accidentally passed a Lego speciality shop (LEGO Clickbricks, maybe Japan only?) and found out the store have a service that allows you to write words on Lego blocks. That's it! I'm making her a Lego diorama with a message! And put it on a cake! As the story goes, I bought some new sets. And as I build and unbuild stuff, I remember how I love this! Now I can't wait to go back to my parents house and get all my old blocks! I also did some research and was surprised at how Lego has evolved! Digital Designer, Lego Universe, Ninjago system, and of course Lego Cuusoo! That website sure opens up new dreams for me! Who knows Lego can get this big?! I am now aiming to be good at making Lego dioramas, especially at old Japanese themed stuff. And surrounded by the masters and architects in this forum, I know I will be someday. So, I'm looking forward to communicate with everyone in the forum. Lastly, here's some questions: 1. Like I said, I wanted to be good at making old japanese themed dioramas. Does anybody have a tip how to start? 2. And also, any sets recommendation? Thanks for reading! See you in the forums! Quote
Hiawatha Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Welcome to Eurobrikcs! There is an older Ninja theme and now there is a Ninjago them in Lego. They both have a lot of potential for historic Japanese creations. I have three figures from the Ninja theme an really enjoy them. Quote
