Etzel Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 "Some bad smells have never killed anyone right?" says Maurice before he doubles over and throws up "Uuuh, but someone must be the first I guess. I am willing to continue though, the source of the stench might be of interest to our quest. Maybe Alf and Nur should drink their meads (if the effect lasts until the next battle, I'm not sure of how that works), the taste of that might take your minds of the smell."
Jebediahs Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 "As you wish, I shall consume a vial of Mead."
Bricksandparts Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Alf shrugs. "I guess I go back there. Hope this Mead work." Alf will consume a Mead. "OK, Lets go."
Sandy Posted October 31, 2011 Author Posted October 31, 2011 As Nur and Alf consume their meads, they feel encouraged and will both cause double damage for the duration of the next battle. Boldly the party steps further into the reeking sewers. The air turns thick and moist as the party gets surrounded by undescribable odours. Just when they think they can no longer breath, the party hears a grumbling voice. "Who goes there? Don't you know that if you step into my lair, I will eat you alive!" A hulking figure approaches them from the darkness. It turns out to be a sickly blue troll. Two big lizards follow in it's trail. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! Jebediahs Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 "Again, I'm glad you're leading this party, Ratibor. Good call suggesting the mead." En Sabah Nur turned to the barbarian. "Aye, you're on the right track there, Alf. You and Erdathcath keep a hand near your ice bombs just in case. I'm sure those gators don't like the cold." Nur looked at the hulking brute and grinned. He was starting to enjoy the stench of the sewers. "I will target the Sewer Troll from the back row with an Earth spell."
The_Customizer Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 I shall Attack Ally Gator (Bright Green)from the back row. And may I suggest we use a fire bomb in this round?
Etzel Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 I shall Attack Ally Gator (Bright Green)from the back row. And may I suggest we use a fire bomb in this round? "Right, then me and Jensen will attack the other Ally Gator (Dark Green) from the front row. Alas, I think Nur used our only fire bomb to defeat the Magic Mirror and thus saved us all." Battle order: Jensen Alf Gregory En Salah Nur Erdathcath Madilinas Maurice Ratibor

Jensen scores a critical hit on the dark green Ally Gator right off the bat (pun intended), causing 13 damage to it. Alf takes 7 damage from the Sewer Troll's furious attack, while Nur takes 4 damage. Erdathcath hits the other Gator for 9 damage. Maurice misses completely, as usual. Etzel Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 "Ouch, maybe we should switch targets Alf so that you don't get knocked out by another hit. Attack the dark green Ally Gator and I'll attack the Sewer Troll from the front row in this round. Or, hm... well, at least I will try to attack him but we all know how that will end." "Jensen, keep hitting that dark green Ally Gator from the front row. One more of those critical hits and it's down." Battle order, same as last time unless someone wants a change: Jensen Alf Gregory En Salah Nur Erdathcath Madilinas Maurice Ratibor
The_Customizer Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 I shall attack the Bright Green Ally Gator once again from the back row.
Jebediahs Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 The large troll was deceptively quick and caught the heroes offguard. Alf was struck by the troll's clubbed fist and Nur retreated backward in time to receive a glancing blow from the brute's backswing. "Let's try this again. I will target the Sewer Troll from the back row with an Earth spell."
Bricksandparts Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 I guess I'll go for whatever you guys decide.
Etzel Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 I guess I'll go for whatever you guys decide. "Didn't you learn anything from last time I decided for you? But I do think it's best if you attack the Ally Gator (Dark Green) from the front row. "
Bricksandparts Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Well, this plan seemed a bit better than the last one. Even if I used a potion, Their special would KO me.

The battle against the sewer-dwelling creatures continues, and Jensen scores another critical hit on the dark green Ally Gator, taking it down. With his target gone, Alf tries to switch his attack to the other Ally Gator, but it gets a bite out of him, making him lose 5 more health. Then it is En Sabah Nur's time to shine again, as he casts a spell that causes an incredible 35 damage against the troll, thanks to the enhancement given by the mead. Erdathcath takes a good aim at the remaining gator, causing 3 damage to it. And Maurice... well... Two of the enemies remain. The battle goes on! Bricksandparts Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Alf will definatly rest and will drink a potion!
The_Customizer Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Alf will definatly rest and will drink a potion! Yeah, Go ahead and rest, we'll take care of the rest. I'll attack Ally Gator (Bright Green), from the Back Row.
Bricksandparts Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Jenson won't Get KO, Jenson and Erdathcath should attack the Gator, And rest should attack troll.
Etzel Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Alf will definatly rest and will drink a potion! "A splendid idea! I support it wholeheartedly! I could try to heal you but...yeah, better take a potion. Jensen, you sure know how to handle that bat. Lets continue to bash those Ally Gators (Bright Green) from the fornt row. I will swing my mace in the general direction of the sewer troll, hopefully distracting him a bit so that Nur can get a hit." Maurice couldn't help to wonder if he has chosen the wrong career. He suddenly remember what he had heard on the street on his way to the Academy yesterday. A hairy glass-blower had mentioned his name he thought, but then he realized that it had been a different cleric named Ratabor that was spoken about. Apparently that cleric lived of selling his own tears, maybe that was a more fitting career to focus on for Maurice as well...
Etzel Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Maurice's sad thoughts left him when he suddenly remebered that he was in the middle of a battle. "Oh right, battle order as follows: Alf Gregory Jensen Erdathcath Madilinas En Salah Nur Maurice the Unlucky
Bricksandparts Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Maurice the Unlucky I bet now you will get something good.
