I present the second building from my town, the ice cream shop!

Here it is! All that open space in front of the shop will be turned into one half of a little plaza with a fountain, and the space on the side will be filled in with more sidewalk.

Here's the side. It seems that I need to press down my bricks a bit more!

The back of the building with a small take-away window (the back is facing the beach and the boardwalk).

Here's a close-up of the sign.

Now for the interior. I used the same black-and-white tile pattern here as I did in the Pizza Restaurant, but I think it looks pretty nice in both.

Here's the counter with all the different 'flavors'.

Finally, in the corner we have a little freezer with some popsicles.

Thanks for looking! Comments, criticisms and suggestions welcome! :sweet:

EDIT: Whoops, I forgot to put 'MOC' in the title! Could a mod please add that?

That looks great!

I especially like the sign and the ice-cream bar. The colours also compliment each other in a fun way too!

"Thanks, sok!"

Brilliant!

I can only echo what sok117 has said - the sign is excellent, and I love the ice-cream counter.

"Thanks, Trent!"

I like the way you've done the canopy over the walk. The colors are also great!

I always seem to notice the little things, too, when I'm going through my pictures... never when I'm taking them or doing the building, of course!

I agree with the other comments, the colours are great, the awning fits well and the sign is awesome.

Very nice MOC.

Cool sign and neat colours used on the building 'Captain Tamamono', and that's a huge ice cream paddle there !

Brick On Ice Cream On 'Captain Tamamono' ! :classic:

Thanks, LT! I suppose that paddle is a bit big!

Lovely sign! That cone would look great in "tan"!

Thanks for your suggestion, RedGiant! I'll keep it in mind!

Lovely building; the sign is great, and the interior has some great details.

I also like the bright, appealing colour scheme. Great job

Thanks, HighFlyer!

The sign is my favorite nicely done. I also like the building colors that you used.

Thanks, jtfh781!

I hate to say it because depending which time I look at it, I sometimes don't see it, but at times the cone looks like a carrot.

The shop is awesome, but the first time I saw it, I saw a carrot.

Do you have a tan piece like the one you used, the one on there now looks very orange.

Yes, it does look a bit like a carrot, doesn't it? I unfortunately do not have a tan wedge plate the right size, but I'll definitely look into it.
