mattb483 Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Thanks for your replies 'bootz' and 'mattb483', well the Town Hall and Cinema was part of the Town Plan set....my son has lost some of the stickers for the cinema (they will have to be customised....done it before I have ). Those two buildings are almost complete...only the figures, missing stickers, a plate on the movie house and flowers in the town hall flower bed will complete that. Oh, the fountain has to be done as well....will be combined into a green area with a new street light I have made. Keep watching......Brick On ! (Oh, no one has answered the question.....would you buy a car from this guy ?' No I wouldn't. He looks like a swindler or he also looks like he has a side job in the mob! Quote
bootz Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 That car dealer looks like he has ties to the mafia. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 24, 2011 Author Posted October 24, 2011 Well it is in the 1950's Ratpack era ! Don't worry he'll wouldn't sell his grandmother.....he did that last year ! Updating fresh pictures.....hopefully today. Quote
slovakiasteph Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 No, I wouldn't buy a car from that guy! Look at that face! I was wondering... why did you use trans tiles for the gumballs... and not opaque? They would show up better, anyway, and I think gumballs are usually solid colors. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 24, 2011 Author Posted October 24, 2011 Yep, that's why I changed and made my new car salesman.....Smiling Sam.....you can trust him ! (That's what he says !) Now solid gumballs.....aw, okay....today then. Looking into designing a 50's cop car and police officer too ! (might keep Sam in check......Yeah, right ! ) Keep watching everyone ! Quote
andybear@hk Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Looks Great! I love the equipment inside very much! Keep on! Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 25, 2011 Author Posted October 25, 2011 Thanks 'andybear' for your kind words , I'll be ordering parts tomorrow to complete the diner/barber shop so that can be finalised. Keep watching everyone ! Quote
HighFlyer Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 I would not buy a car from that - there is a slight similarity to Sweeny Todd Mind you, never judge a book by it's cover... Great updates! Quote

Great updates! Oh, Mr Todd....here but this guy wouldn't use a razor at all....a Tommy gun would be his tool of choice ! Brick On.....while waiting for me to build some more ! Quote
Sir E Fullner Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Now does this help to guess what it is ? It reminds me of the car dealership in my town. Small one. Hardly anybody buys cars from it, though. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 25, 2011 Author Posted October 25, 2011 It reminds me of the car dealership in my town. Small one. Hardly anybody buys cars from it, though. Well, it's based a little on the size to scale of the 1950's VW dealer Lego produced though I think with the curved windows I have used in the diner/barber shop combo. Thanks for the comment 'efullner' and Brick On ! Quote
