Unless I'm totally mistaken, the basis of metagaming is judging people by their actions in previous games, and most of the folks in Cirque du Freak are first timers..? I don't think judging people by what they've said/done/how they've acted so far in this game is metagaming, rather, it's kind of the point..

I was gone until saturday night, and I was the last one to vote, I did not want to keep the day going forever, Gingeroono was the only person that seemed that might have done it. I mean, it was the first day, it is hard to figure out who did it on the first day. and I somehow forgot that Gingeroono is my friend in this game... sorry if I had made a mistake.

I do think some people are making decisions based on the looks of a fig or the act in the circus. Thanks for the compliments on the lion. For example, suspecting the contortionist because she could easily get up the ladder to rig the bucket with the acid. That doesn't have any bearing on a Mafia game. That would also be considered meta-gaming, since a character's abilities or story has no bearing on if they are Town or Scum.

Can't say I've been perfect in that matter either but it's certainly something I will think more of from now on. It's a delicate balance between role-playing and avoiding meta-gaming I believe.
