I see megablocks.... :jollyroger::sick: ..

Well, obviously I see megablocks or something else than LEGO , but I cant see anything custom build in the photo.

hmm...the two tan tanks do actually look like custom models (using megabloks stuff), the green tank looks a bit like the leopard tank by megabloks but a bit smaller than the original model.

i'd like to see some individual pics of each model and hear some details about the builds.

I really don't want to hear about some megablocks thing sorry... I find it disappointing and rude to put such thing on a forum about LEGO sorry .

from what i can tell, it's okay to post about other brands in the 'community' group.

keep an open mind, there are some non-lego construction toy companies that have been doing some amazing things (as well as some not-so-amazing things) since the mid 1980's. if it weren't for a bit of good stiff competition lego could just rest on their laurels and never try to get better.

You seem awfully "sorry" for being so opinionated.

Let's keep the discussion civilized, people. The merits of clone brands aren't what should be discussed here. The OP is asking for feedback on his/her MOC. Let's keep discussion to that topic. If you don't like Clone brands, fine. Don't post about it here. Likewise, let's not feed troll-like behavior by arguing with him. It won't end well.

Battlemas, if you had more or better-detailed pictures, it would probably be easier to give comments on your creations. A little more description might be nice as well. Tell us something about them.

I'm trying to be civilized in my opinion , that's why I say sorry. I don't want to be rude .

I see a lot of good builders making army stuff from scratch and a lot of really poor excuses for it as well , I guess this is the latter. Even to make things worse, its made of "bricks compatible to the famous building blocks" .

IMHO , clone brands should not be allowed here . period . really .

sincere apologies. i'm not trying to argue, just want to be helpful/informative.

since our builder is proving to be a bit reticent, here's some info:

it looks like he's got pieces from three different kits. using parts from the huge abrams kit he's made a smaller (read minifig size) tank and stolen treads from the leopard to make it work. this is a great idea because the abrams is an awesome kit but it's just too huge to use with a minifig.

the cannibalized leopard tank sits in the middle with the third tank probably using parts from the abrams and the missile launchers from the 3731 snake mobile defense unit.

some interesting work (particularly considering what he's done with the abrams parts that i never even thought of--adding treads from a smaller model).

Oh, I do enjoy MOCing with my clone brands. I made a pretty decent Batmobile for my Minimate Batman for display (I am not a fan of long term display with my LEGO, I MOC too much, so the clone bricks were perfect!) I have also drafted a few MOCs out of clone bricks, to save my LEGO again.

Those are pretty nice models there, I'm not enough of a fan of army stuff to buy any of the big sets.

To late, you were already rude with your initial post. Saying your sorry, doesn't make it any better.

What exactly doesn't make these good mocs? Instead of just writing them off as "Poor excuses" for mocs, how about you explain why. Give some constructive criticism. From what i can see these seem to be fairly well done. I'm sure if these were built with Lego you'd have nothing but compliments, but because he has used megablocks, you list them as junk. That's not only unfair, but complete ignorance on your part.

No ones saying you have to like competitor brands, but its not fair to dismiss one's creations because of it.

It appears that his mocs are custom with good detail. I love the turrents and detail on the weapons. Good job battlemas. I'm curious if the rear of the tan tanks open for troops like the real ones would. Overall nice job.

Don't feed trolls! I'm not going to repeat myself. The argument is over. THE END.

CorneliusMurdock is absolutely right. If you guys don't like it, don't read it and don't reply. It's a lot like TV. If you don't like what you see, change the channel.

Battlemas, your posted picture exceeds the site guidelines so I've removed it. Read the Site Guidelines (there's a link in my signature) and learn how to post properly. Use the helpful tutorials in my signature if you need help learning how to post properly.

Everyone else, don't make me turn this car around.
