RoxYourBlox Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Have any other US citizens here been experiencing delayed shipments on pick-a-brick or design-by-me orders? I have noticed increased times from "shipment tendered" to the next step on the DHL tracking page for orders I've placed since this summer. Just wondering if/ how many people are in the same boat. Cap'tanZarWolf Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 I just received my DBM and PAB order today that I placed back at the end of July. I got an e-mail from Lego about it a week after I placed the order. I assume all other DBM / PAB / Recon orders got the e-mail as well. Dear LEGO® Customer, We know that you are eagerly waiting for your LEGO® order to arrive, but unfortunately, it has been delayed, as you may have noticed when trying to track your order. We experienced an issue in US Customs and your order is being held until it is resolved. Please know that we are working very hard to release it and get it on its way to you. We send our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. As an apology for the delay, we would like to offer you a $10 Electronic Gift Card. It will arrive in your email inbox within 48 hours. Sorry for any inconvenience caused, Your LEGO® Customer Service Team[/Quote] The electronic gift card did arrive as well, still deciding on what to spend it on. Quote

RoxYourBlox Posted October 8, 2011 Author Posted October 8, 2011 In an ironic turn of events, two of eight orders arrived last night, so I can draw a couple conclusions. US-CBP is processing imports in 5-10 days (instead of 1-3 as back in spring 2011... but not as long as I'd feared), and DHL is not being punctual in updating its tracking numbers once orders are with US Postal Service.
