Ceroknight Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 (edited) Hello! This is probably one of the last entries you'll see for the contest and I hope you like it! My original plan was something big and heavy, but I realized that would be too....tiresome So I looked at what I could use and realized I only almost have Starwars sets! Those will never do for this contest... So I chose one of my smallest and non-Starwars set: the Alien Space Ship. I also realized I didn't own any fish of aquatic plant life! So I 'made' some... Anyways..here it is! So it isn't a big entry as I have limited pieces.. Yes, I have included a Claw with Buzz and RC (kudos to Lightingtiger and Oky) Here you can see someone buried in the depths of the ocean as well as a little sea creature I've made, a sea turtle The Claw has helped the LGM once again! Also, want to see a different underwater version of this set? Click here to see Stardusty's entry Thank you! Ceroknight Edited October 7, 2011 by ceroknight Quote
Oky Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Hm... Looks more like a crash landing on an alien planet than an underwater version to me. Of course it's hard to portray the sea floor if you don't have any aquatic pieces, so I don't really know how you could improve it. In addition, this is a VERY small set, so there's not really much you could do with it even if you had the necessary pieces. I gotta say, that turtle is quite brilliant, though, and ironically reminds me of Squirt from Finding Nemo. I am happy to see that someone chose a TS set for this contest. I personally couldn't bring myself to alter my TS sets. And why wouldn't SW sets work? I think it would have been great to see a sunken AT-TE, AT-AT, or Venator or something! Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Not bad design 'ceroknight', by the looks of it he needs the help of THE CLAW ! Brick On Swim On ! Quote
Stardusty Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 During my history class, my mind was on this contest. I had no ideas! Then, I finnaly decided it will be 30070. Then I've spent two hours working on my entry, and now your's is up. I have no luck. Mine is a lot different, though, and although it's finished, I can't take pictures of it until 19:22 (when it's dark enough to make my first fully-efficient photo studio give it a decent light). Great minds think alike! I like your entry very much. Scene the little alien came into is so cute. Nice job! Quote

I'm happy you like the turtle I've made After I posted this, I instantly thought "hmmm..I wonder what Oky would think.." since you're such a Toy Story fan. I tend to buy BIG SW sets and as you might have guessed from the little MOC I have no where near enough pieces to sink my Venator Not bad design 'ceroknight', by the looks of it he needs the help of THE CLAW ! Brick On Swim On ! Thank you lightningtiger! The Claw indeed! During my history class, my mind was on this contest. I had no ideas! Then, I finnaly decided it will be 30070. Don't worry, I'm sure LGMs can breath underwater... Quote
Oky Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Not bad design 'ceroknight', by the looks of it he needs the help of THE CLAW ! That would have been a great addition to this entry actually, to have an actual claw hang down from above, trying to fish the alien out! Maybe you could even have Buzz in a fishing boat up above. That would be awesome if you could add something like that before the contest closes! I tend to buy BIG SW sets and as you might have guessed from the little MOC I have no where near enough pieces to sink my Venator Yeah, I figured so. Just saying that it's theoretically possible. Don't worry, I'm sure LGMs can breath underwater... Well, considering that they're toys, they probably can... Come to think of it, shouldn't they be able to float? Oh well, doesn't look like this one would be able to, being buried in the sand like that, anyway. Quote

Ninja Nin Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I woke up this morning and WOOOOOOW ! (in the LGM 's voice) You made an awesome update ! Now it looks much more elaborated. So did the toys sink with Andy's house ? Or an adventure to ocean planet ordered by Star Command ? Quote

The impact broke the spaceship and buried the poor LGM Quote
Oky Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Enjoy the update! I do! Nice work, this sure made your entry more interesting, even though I don't quite understand the inclusion of half of RC. Could you provide a pic of the whole thing? It's hard to judge the entry as a whole from all these tight shots. Good luck in the contest! Andy has tied the LGM's space ship on a missile and he shot into a pond. The impact broke the spaceship and buried the poor LGM Sounds to me like Andy has been hanging out with his neighbour too much. Quote

RC is the Claw basically, Buzz has added a claw onto RC so he could travel with it I have posted a picture of the whole thing on the official entry thread like this one: Edited October 8, 2011 by ceroknight Quote
Stardusty Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 (edited) Wow, do I need to say I like it more right now? I don't know how similar RC is to the set, but it's so cute. "To the infinity, and beyond!" Edited October 8, 2011 by Stardusty Quote
