Ninja Nin Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 (edited) Instead of just showing you the photos, I would also like to share my design process and how I think when I build it. I was a big fan of Aquazone, and I always plan to bring a return MOC of one of those themes. (Yes, I am working on it, but I can't manage it within this action month! Sorry ) I pick up the Bank & Money Transfer set 3661 : which includes a bank, a money transport truck, a police car and a motorcycle. I planned to transform the bank into a hideout (possibly for the Aquasharks ! ) But with camourflage. So a piece of coral reef can possibly create that scenery: It covers part of the bank, the motorcycle and the police car. The police car was broken into half and could be a home for something. The bank will definitely need some defense, naval mines will be the best choice: A dead robber was found outside the bank, with his crowbar and several safes. Inside the bank, glass is all shattered, the desk is rusty, computer remains. The vault is full of the stolen crystals: Finally, a protector of the bank. I came up with the design of combining the Money Transport Truck with the Spy Shark 6135. But I understand the contest is not about adaption to underwater vehicle. There is plenty of space inside the Truck, how about something live in it : A monstrous Hermit Crab, plus the poor money transport agent..... The crystal vault will definitely attract the attention of some Aqua Scavengers, but the Hermit Crab can surely protect it : And here is the full set : Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy my creation. I would like to thank Eurobricks for organizing this Action Month theme and the contests. I really enjoy it. Edited October 6, 2011 by Ninja Nin Quote
SilentMode Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Well done with this MOC! I haven't seen any of the others, but there are definitely some great ideas in this one (especially the security van hermit crab). Somehow I get the impression the bank is still operational. Good luck in the competition! Quote
ice dragon Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Nice job! Although I think it could be a little cooler if the police car had some more organic materials on it. I know it would be hard to pull off, but I think you could. Quote
Locutis Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Very well done. I like all of the detail you put into your sunken set. Especially the coral, and the creature using the van as its shell. This is one of my favourite entries. Good luck! Locutis Quote
Thor Lund Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Nice one, really well done. The mines are a great addition to the story. My favorite piece is the Hermit Crab, it looks soo happy in there Thor Quote
Stardusty Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 I've seen this entry earlier, but weekend is atrting, and it's time for me to comment. I can only say: "Sweet!" Hermit crab in police van is very cool. Vegetation is very well done. Your photography is brilliant! Quote

Good luck in the competition! Thank you, and yes somehow the bank is operational, the computer is working. Nice job! Although I think it could be a little cooler if the police car had some more organic materials on it. I know it would be hard to pull off, but I think you could. I did attempt to put some organics on the police car, but it did not look nice together with the scene, so I broke it into half instead. Very well done. I like all of the detail you put into your sunken set. Especially the coral, and the creature using the van as its shell. This is one of my favourite entries. Good luck! Locutis Thank you and glad that you like it. Nice one, really well done. The mines are a great addition to the story. My favorite piece is the Hermit Crab, it looks soo happy in there Thor I put the two slope pieces together and it looks like a smile. Glad that you notice it. KeepLeft Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 That hermit crab is priceless, plus the dead guard still in the van is a nice touch. I like the way the bank has been taken over by the sea. Good job. Quote
Huntleyfx Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I hate to echo everyone else, but an excellent piee of work! Quote
