LEGO Guy Bri Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Today I present a new model for my cargo line. A modern city style flatbed truck with a sizable cargo capacity and a fresher "paint" scheme. Its designed for a free lance driver or perhaps will end up on a farm. Hope you like! It's rather simple, and I suppose it takes more design cues from European lorries than it's American counterparts. Thanks for checking it out! Suggestions and comments always appreciated Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 This looks really nice, it looks like it is in the style of a Lego set. My only nitpick is the front is a bit low Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Very nice truck, nice touch of green to it too 'LGG' ! Though the front end is half-a-stud too low, but there is nothing that can be done about it without a full redesign of the cab. Brick On Truck On 'LGG' ! Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 Thanks 'JmB' and 'lt' for your comments. I am a little turned off by the front bumper hanging a bit low, as well. It might take a bit of redesigning. I was trying to configure it keeping the mudguards as close to the tire as possible with the pieces I had. Since then some BL orders have arrived, so it'll be under the brick separator before long Quote
HighFlyer Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Very good truck, love the dash of green in there, similar to 7639 Quote
