olaf9198 Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 (edited) hi guy's information about what i whant to get in it and the scale i what to put 6 motors in it 2 for driving the crane 3 motors for the winch (1 for the hook, 1 for luffing the main boom, 1 for the jib) 1 motor for turning the crane scale where it must go in is the scale of the 8258. so i that it was around the 1.13 i started whit it but there where some few problems so who can help me with the under carrier and the super structure like howe it's lais here please say if i must sow a pic of my own crane now or for more information Edited October 1, 2011 by olaf9198 Quote

Alasdair Ryan Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 (edited) Interesting build Heres one my harvester base videos it might help you to make the undercarriage: It is driven by to small pf moters and all the rest of the pf stuff is built into it. Alasdair Ryan Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 thank you (hehe i already now this page and site and his youtube acc but thanks ) i already insalled moters on the tracks. the only thing is to make a strong and somting like this so maybe you can sow me somthing of yours I have made the superstructure balance undercarriage so i dont need 'guide wheels' or any thing like that there is a lot less play in the new turntable than the old kind so i would stick to the new kind,as you are building a crane you will need some sort of guide wheels or to have the under side of the superstructure flush with the top of the undercarriage.
