DLuders Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Model Team AFOLs will appreciate The Car Connection's story about a HUGE Ford Explorer made from Lego bricks. The says that "We've reinvented the Ford Explorer in LEGO® Bricks, approximately 380,000 of them! After 2500 hours we debuted the LEGO® Explorer today at our Chicago Assembly Plant however the Explorer is on its way to the new 150 acre LEGOLAND Florida theme park where it will make its public debut on October 15th, 2011 in front of one of the park's attractions, the Ford Driving School for children! 3nslav3 Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 WOW!!! those are a lot of bricks :P I wonder if they got instructions in ODF file on those laptops Quote
Vincent Kessels Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 I am not impressed. Yes, that are a lot of bricks, but it is not really a challenge to build. I would have been more impressed if it was a Miniland or Minifig scale version. Quote
gmshades Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Even though I'm a Chevy guy, I'd like to have the plans to make the FORD logo. Quote
Paul Boratko Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Maybe I am in the minority here, but I think that they should have done a Shelby GT500.... This is like the 2nd or 3rd large scale SUV that I have seen done... Quote
