Hey folks,

I am preparing a series of small MOCs and Vignettes in order to make a table full of BSG-MOCs that represent other things than your average Viper or Raptor - they've been built and there are brilliant MOCs out there that I would just reproduce in some way - so I'll try to focus on something new.

This time it's the hybrid - hybrids are nonsense-talking mixtures of machine and synthetic human and are the "brain" of a basestar. This one is still a prototype - I will possibly re-build this.

C&C are warmly welcome!

Interesting concept, it's kinda freaky that he looks happy and that he wears two diffent hats. :oh:

I like the 'red' wall reference. If you're gonna rebuild this you should work on your lighting and the way you made the floor, it's kinda messy using all kinds of different lengths.

I liked how the angle of the sun flowing through the trans red bricks...

But what did you put in with the hybrid? it almost looks like white glue >.<

Hello!

A nice idea. :classic: I'd have a suggestion if allowed. The reference image clearly shows that the floor is of a different type around the platform than on top of the platform. I think that normal studs and a tiled platform would show these lines much better than having everything tiled. :classic:

Cheers,

Thanks everyone for your kind words! (sorry, holidays and no internet - it took some time for my reply)

I used whitewater colour and water for the goo bath. I agree with you Legostein - tiles on snot is not the most efficient way of depicting the different materials. I'll incorporate your suggestions in the next version!

Hmmm. I'm not a big fan of BSG, so I'm not very familiar with this.

Concept looks good, "milk" bath kinda creepy, but the wall looks perfect (or cool at least, sometimes simplicity

is a win).

Btw. Your photos are very crisp and clear. Nice job! I suggest you to use white paper as a background.
