The0 Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Hi! This is my entry for the "I like to mod it" L13 contest on Brickpirate. The challenge is to build something only with the parts from an official set. In the year 3221 TLC is the biggest company on Earth and it has diversified its activities, it has especially become a freight company in 2887 by buying Maersk. Here you can see a small cargo sip landing at Billund spaceport to be load with Lego boxes and beer barrels. Then the ship will deliver this on Mars where the feast of Independance is about to begin. Hope you like it! Quote
Yatkuu Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Cool! I like how you have used the tires... Well done! Quote
Brainbox Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 I do nurse a certain penchant for alternate models... Of course, it helps that this one is rather neat to boot! The use of the tyres is rather neat, and I think the doors (with the LEGO logo) look rather nifty there too. Plus it definitely looks swooshable! Quote
Si-MOCs Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 I saw this on flickr... but it's such a fun little set it deserves two sets of thumbs up! Are you going to do a blue Toys R Us one too? Quote
Legostein Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Hello! Turning a road truck into a space glider is a quite inventive concept. And you still had parts left over to create a small landing pad. Very nice! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Nice! Hopefully Lego will be around for a few more centuries. Great design and a very original idea. Thanks for sharing! Quote
RedGiant Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Great build! Looks very "official". Love it!!! Quote
Hiawatha Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 This is a very neat creation. I enjoy the Lego labels and the landing dock is a good attachment to the ship . Quote
