Tanma Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 IC: Dece cheers inside to have contributed to the quest, though now he worries if his bad luck in battle will doom the team to failure. De'kra does have a tendency to either miss or take damage, and of the heroes he is the only one who died. De'kra shuddered at the thought, dying wasn't fun. De'kra didn't remember much of being dead, only that he never wanted to die again. Regardless, dying was in this kind of work. At least for him it wasn't permanent. "I attack Lion Footsoldier B from front row," stated the shade, clearly worried about how the group will do in this fight.
Tamamono Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Order of action: Leo Xander Thormanil Cinna Ad-Hoh Benji De'kra Tomas "I will attack Lion Footsoldier B from the back row!"
Darkdragon Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Cinna melee attacks Lion Footsoldier B from the back row.
Flare Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 (edited) Benji attacks Lion Footsoldier A from the back row, with awesomeness! Edited November 8, 2011 by Flare
TheBoyWonder Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 I Smash the hell out of Footsoldier A from the Front Row.
posades Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Xander attacks Lion Footsoldier B from the front row, with calmness.

Sir Leo, you take a hit from Lion Footsoldier A, but your skill with the shield is sufficient to ward off the attack. You see Xander bring his hammer down in an Extra Critical Hit on Lion Footsoldier B, knocking out the enemy in one strike of 21 Damage. You move in swiftly with your axes, Thormanil, but Lion Footsoldier A evades you and calls for backup. Cinna, you deal a melee Critical Hit, but from the Back Row, your 9 Damage falls just short of knocking out Lion Footsoldier A, whom you turn your attention to. Encouraged by your fellow Mage's success, Ad-Hoh, you fire off a Magic Burst - more than enough to annihilate what's left of the last guard. THE BATTLE IS VICTORIOUS! It's a crude, hand-drawn map of the Lion Knight's camp. Evidently, one of the guards was working on it when you attacked, for not all the tents are labeled, and some fresh blotches of ink are present. In the distance, you can hear the backup guards approaching quickly...
Tamamono Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 In the aftermath of the battle, you pick a small piece of parchment out the dirt. It's a crude, hand-drawn map of the Lion Knight's camp. Evidently, one of the guards was working on it when you attacked, for not all the tents are labeled, and some fresh blotches of ink are present. "I think we should visit the leftmost tent first."
Brickdoctor Posted November 9, 2011 Author Posted November 9, 2011 "I think we should visit the leftmost tent first." QM Note: It might not have been as realistic, but I seriously should've labeled the tents. Here you go: Though in any case, I think it's clear that you meant Tent D, so I'll take you right there. You approach the left-most tent, and cautiously peek inside. No one is inside; there are four bedrolls laid out and one lantern set in the middle. "Servant's tent."
Darkdragon Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 "We should grab the lantern and move on quickly." Cinna whispers.
Tamamono Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 "We should grab the lantern and move on quickly." Cinna whispers. "I agree." "Does Tent E sound good to everyone?"
swils Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Those reinforcements sound like they're closing in quickly. I wonder if it's just the five or so I may or may not have inadvertently brought upon us, or if we've drawn more attention to ourselves than that. How many tents do ya reckon we can search through before they get here? That one with the blotched label might be worth checking for sure. Any merit to us splittin' up to search?

"No, we should definitely stay together. The one with the blotched name might be worth a visit though."
Flare Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 "I think that we should go to Tent E, then the blotched tent, and then the rest.
posades Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Do you think there could be anything useful that we could use in the Supply Tent?
Darkdragon Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 "No, we should definitely stay together. The one with the blotched name might be worth a visit though." "I agree. We should head to the blotched name tent and stop at the other tents that are on the way. The guards seemed more worried about the whatever is going on in the fields though, when they were talking before getting knocked out."
ADHO15 Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 "I think it would be wise to visit the supply tent so we can possibly pick up some items or weapons before we need them."
Tanma Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 IC: De'kra nods and clicks, "I agree heroes and I move to supply tent. Lion Knights might have guards in tent to protect tools, heroes and I need careful."
Brickdoctor Posted November 9, 2011 Author Posted November 9, 2011 You dash over to the Supply Tent. Inside are stacks of crates. All are firmly nailed shut. "We don't have time to open the crates. The guards are approaching quickly." You see, however, that one crate has been left open. A variety of tools are inside. Party Leader, who will receive the items? Pickaxe – Allows the hero to dig through a breakable wall or obstacle. Shovel – Allows the hero to dig the ground in search of a treasure. Bedroll – Allows the hero to rest and regain health in a safe place.
Darkdragon Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 "I feel like we should be collapsing these tents as we go, but that would leave quite the trail."
Tanma Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 De'kra's eyes locked with the pickaxe, noting it's strong shaft and powerful blade. Of course the shade knew that he was not first in line for new tools, he had gotten a lot of gifts on this adventure already. Two capes and two daggers; he already had more than his share of tools. So the shade decides to stay quiet, and watch for guards.
Tamamono Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 "Look at all that loot!" "I will give the pickaxe to Thormanil and the shovel to Benji. It seems that everyone who needs a bedroll has one. Does anybody want this one to sell/trade when we get back to the Hall?"
