ADHO15 Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 "Well that round of battle did not play out particularly well for our party! Unless instructed otherwise, I think I shall take a moment to drink my potion and regain health." EDIT: "Never mind about that. I see I now have more health, so I shall brave my injuries and melee attack Thug A from the back row once again."
Tanma Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Where De'kra had disappated a thick smell emerged, that of tears. The salty scent of mortal rain hung through the battlefield, as a sweet song of mourning whispered into the combatant's ears. It was distinctly not the feel of death, but of something far more lonely and terrible.
swils Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 "Well that round of battle did not play out particularly well for our party! You got that right, that fella meant business! Let's make him regret knocking out De'kra! Thormanil will attack Thug A from the front row.
Tanma Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 The mist of tear scent started to expand, like a massive wildfire in a dry savannah. The scent of salt soon overpowered every other smell, spreading into the very minds of all who would take a whiff. The smell was sad, like that of a child whose back lay bleeding by its parent's blows. It was a flood of emotion, though its thoughts were unrecognizable to the word of man.
posades Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Seaian readies yet another attack from the back row on Thug A.
Darkdragon Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 "I will attack Thug from back row with my staff."
Flare Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Benji pauses to catch his breath. "What do you think? Should I drink my potion or risk it and attack the Thug?"
ADHO15 Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 "What do you think? Should I drink my potion or risk it and attack the Thug?" "Well there should be enough of us to take down one Thug, so I would suggest that you drink your potion. The choice is yours to make, however."
Darkdragon Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 "What does everyone else think?" "If you are worried about being knocked out, definitely drink it. I hope this is the last round for the night though, and then you would be able to rest."
Flare Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Maybe if I was put at the last position, I would avoid being hurt and not have to waste a potion?
Brickdoctor Posted October 10, 2011 Author Posted October 10, 2011 QM Note: According to Sandy, you can also just choose not to do anything.
Tamamono Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Order of action: Leo Thormanil Cinna Ad-Hoh Benji De'kra Seaian Tomas "I will attack the remaining Thug from the back row! Remember everyone, the Thug has the Regroup this round, so we need as many heroes to target him as possible!" "Benji, I'll be healing everyone after the battle (although I'll probably need a Tonic afterwards), but if you think you're going to be knocked out, then you should drink your potion." OOC: 1000th post!
Flare Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 QM Note: According to Sandy, you can also just choose not to do anything. If I choose to not do anything, can I still get hurt?
Brickdoctor Posted October 10, 2011 Author Posted October 10, 2011 If I choose to not do anything, can I still get hurt? QM Note:I assume you're safe as long as you don't get hit by a Free Hit and the enemy doesn't do something that causes damage to multiple targets, so in this case, you'd be safe.
Flare Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 QM Note: I assume you're safe as long as you don't get hit by a Free Hit and the enemy doesn't do something that causes damage to multiple targets, so in this case, you'd be safe. No, what I meant, is, would I be just as safe attacking as I would be doing nothing?
Brickdoctor Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 No, what I meant, is, would I be just as safe attacking as I would be doing nothing? QM Note:Doing nothing is guaranteed safety in this Round. Attacking could knock you out if you roll a Damage.
Flare Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 (edited) OK. Benji is doing nothing. Edited October 11, 2011 by Flare
Brickdoctor Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 Round Three of the Skirmish on the R'Kilf Road: >Sir Leo the Sentinel vs. Thug A - Special Damage Thormanil Nihai vs. Thug A - Miss >Cinna the Dark vs. Thug A - Damage >Ad-Hoh vs. Thug A - Damage Benji Carvenhall does nothing >Seian vs. Thug A - Hit >Tomas vs. Thug A - Special Damage The party is now looking for a quick end to the battle, after a rough second Round. Sir Leo starts off by slashing at the Thug, but he spins away and steps back, Regrouping. Thormanil attacks with one axe slashing high and one axe slashing low, but somehow, the Thug evades both. Cinna leaps forward with her staff a blur, only to watch as the Thug parries the strike and swings his sword into her leg for 2 Damage. Ad-Hoh tries the same move, but the Thug was ready for it and damages Ad-Hoh the same way he did Cinna. Benji sits back and does nothing, while Seian leaps forward and lands a hit on the unsuspecting Thug for 3 Damage. With the veteran quester Tomas bearing down on him, the Thug decides to step back and Regroup again. The party is starting to get annoyed. The battle continues... Tamamono Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Order of action: Leo Thormanil Cinna Ad-Hoh Benji De'kra Seaian Tomas "I will attack Thug A from the back row."
Tanma Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 OOC: De'kra used up his potion some time ago, otherwise I would have used it before I had died. De'kra clothes lay flat on the battlefield, lifeless and empty. Though the salty scent has faded away, De'kra had not yet returned to the world of mortals.
ADHO15 Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 "That thug is one skilled and nimble foe! I do not think he will be able to knock me out, so I shall melee attack Thug A from the back row."
Darkdragon Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 "Ouch! You...Thug!" Wondering if this fight will ever end. "I will attack Thug from back row with my staff."
posades Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Seaian gets ready to attack Thug A from the back row.
