Where to buy Lego in Amsterdam?

Hello,

I preview to spend a very days in Amsterdam soon and I was wondering if some people could give me good informations on where to buy Lego sets or parts in the town?

As a tourist I could get around on feet, so please don't tell me about some great store that is located at 10 km

As far as I know there is no LEGO shop in Amsterdam. I've heard rumors about a LEGO shop comming to Holland, but that doesn't help you any bit.

If I were to go to Amsterdam I would check out the following stores: (I added two links for every store because you're not Dutch and the sites are Dutch. First link is the LEGO offer they have, second link is the location of the stores in Amsterdam)

That helps a lot, I knew there would be some nice dutch guy here.

Now I will mark these stores on my paper map as my smartphone will be useless .

Too bad there's no shop selling spare parts... but it's the same thing here

I say.... Get on a train to Alkmaar. And visit Perron4. It's only a 30 minutes ride and a train goes each quarter of an hour. The store is located behind the main shopping street.

Sorry to bump this topic, but in a few days i will be in Amsterdam for a day and i would like to know where to go to buy some lego sets. Beside the one posted above, are there any other places ?

A far as I'm concerned, there aren't any in Amsterdam except for the toy shops that are already mentioned. You have a better change in smaller cities in The Netherlands. It's ofcourse strange when comparing to let's say big German cities that have a LEGO Shop or LEGO Discovery Center, but that's how It is for now.

I have mostly experience with the last store in Zwolle, both online and in store. There are many other toy stores that are mostly specialized in LEGO, I believe there's also at least one in the other two big cities: Rotterdam and Den Haag/The Hauge.
