Big Red truck Remote controller

I wanted to make a bigger 8297 in a red color, with doors that could open using m-motor (2 doors can be opened by switch behind the seats). It has 4 speed gearbox and xl-motor for driving (xl=Motor is parallel to the drive axes to get minimal friction).

It has m-motor for steering (it is placed below the engine in the front)

Is used 8070 model for parts.

@ bmollema: Welcome to Eurobricks! On your MOCpages post, you mentioned that you used four different models to make your Big Red Truck. I recognize the big tires from the 8466 4x4 Off-Roader. Besides the 8297 Off-Roader and the 8070 Super Car, which other set did you use?

Thanks for teh wolcom, I used also 8448, the older supercar.

It looks really cool! Does the gearbox actually drive the tires or only the fake engine? And how well does it perform when driving it?

The gearbox connects the the fake engine, I want to try it one day but I worry about forces that will be on the parts.

I drives normal, i mean it is not very fast but also not slow. I do not have a good video camera else I could show it.
