toatyger Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 My god, those shoulders are AWSOME! Also, is that shield supposed to be a tribal mask? Quote

The Mugbearer Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 (edited) Hm, tribal masks... Need to do some more! Good Hero Leader, I like the colour scheme and overall structure. Especially, Withc Doctor's skulls as a shoulderpads. =3 Edited September 16, 2011 by -N13OS- Quote
Ceroknight Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Another epic Hero Factory Moc BRiAn! Quote
Tanma Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Nce job, there certainly is a tribal vibe going on. The skull shoulder armor is a nice touch, and helps show that he had to repair himself with whatever he could find. The only issue I have is his weapons. Don't get me wrong, I like the tribal mask of a shield, but the silver seems out of place with his color scheme. And I have had a hatred of that sword since it first came out, it just is too uneven. But aside from personal taste, this MOC is great. Quote

Tanma Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 There aren't too many parts I must admit. 2003Makuta has some gunmetal, although an early shade, could the Kraata containment tubes work? Or could you use a Krana-Kal? They had very intricate faces, and many came in Gunmetal. Or would a piece in white work as well? Both versions of Toa Nuju have some interesting pieces, like his Hordika head and his Metru shoulder armor. Quote
K-Nut Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Beautiful! I have been wanting to make custom action figures for some time. This is so inspiring! Thank you for this wonderful figure! By the way, what's that shield? Quote

You're welcome  for the shield, I used the chest plate of Krika, the head piece of Spinax and pieces from hero factory 3.0 (the claw-shape pieces) Quote

Clever idea using the pins on the skulls to fit onto the arm armor. It creates a nice contrast for a super advanced robot. It kind of reminds me of 2001, where the Matoran had regressed in tech after the Metru- Nui saga. Speaking of 2001, have you considered replacing his sword with Kopaka's blade? It's a bit smaller, but it fits his color scheme better and is a bit more compact. Quote
Toa Mark Surge Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 very nice, very very nice. Better then Stormer 3.0 :) Quote
