Horry Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Now, I don't have any complete sets anymore but I think this contest is an awful lot of fun so I decided to give it a try anyway to get the entries going So I present my (fun)entry: "Sunken Sabre Island" When the Bluecoats heard about the climate change, they said it was Redcoat-jabber - little did they know that the water would rise by more than 10 bricks! Now there are blue corals guarding Sabre Island, not Bluecoats. No 1 von HMSCentaur auf Flickr No 2 von HMSCentaur auf Flickr No 3 von HMSCentaur auf Flickr Quote
slovakiasteph Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) This is based on set 7639. Sometimes it's not much fun camping in the rain (every time I have a week off, it seems to rain!). What would camping underwater be like? Well, you wouldn't have to go swimming too! So, I present: When Will it Stop Raining? The campers have been here so long that the sand has drifted around the wheels... this is starting to look permanent. In fact, there's seaweed growing from the campers. The guys are outside talking around the grill... Arty (the owner of the teardrop trailer) is trying to relax, but finds it difficult to stay on that lounge. Bob is wants to grill one of the fish that was passing by, but it's a bit slippery. Inside the trailer, Emily is resting on the bed. The chairs, made of plastic, seem to be rather buoyant. The heavy coffee mug must be keeping the table down. There's also a sink, stove, and kitchen counter on the ground level of the camper. Who knows, the fisherman and surfer might join them in the salty deep soon enough... Ninja Nin Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 (edited) Underwater Bank & Money Transfer Set - Bank & Money Transfer 3661 Theme - City/Police Year Released - 2011 The LEGO City Bank, years after submerged in the widened ocean, remained its glory at the beautiful Coral Reef. Rogue Aquanauts once used the vault inside the bank for their stolen crystals. Naval mines were set for their defense. Mysteriously, they were all vanished. It was rumored that they were all killed by a giant sea creature. Two Aqua Scavengers headed to the Coral Reef in search for the crystals left in the vault. But they had never thought of what was protecting this haunted bank. None of them could imagine, the protector was the Money Transport Truck! With a gigantic Hermit Crab using it as its shell. Oky Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 The Sunken Ruins of the Royal Knights' Castle Set: 6090 Royal Knights' Castle Theme: Castle (Royal Knights) This mighty castle was once the stronghold of the Royal Knights and their king. Now it serves as a fortress once more, but for the creatures of the deep. The Atlantis Portal Emperor has claimed it his own, and now it is inhabited by various sea creatures. Moos and algae are growing everywhere, the metal gate is rusting, and the castle is starting to fall apart. The courtyard behind the main entrance gate, which used to feature a trap door with a skeleton underneath for scaring off unwanted guests, now houses a much more terrifying threat: A horrible giant squid! It guards the treasure that is stored above it. The ghost that already inhabited this castle ages ago still haunts these walls, regardless of its new watery environment. More pictures here. Please comment in this thread. Quote
dr_spock Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Underwater Beach House Party featuring the Creator Beach House set. My mini-me was having a house party when a big tsumani washed my beach house into the ocean. Fortunately the house came equipped with dual airlock front doors and a working underwater BBQ and air tanks. Outside a couple of the girls are BBQing. They grabbed whatever fishes pass by. Inside they are enjoying a drink and admiring the Atlantis treasure key in the living room. Upstairs my mini-me is showing off the upstair bedroom. Wuntin Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 The Sunken Castle A long time ago, the Castle stood on a hilltop overlooking its master's domain. Today it sits at the bottom of the ocean, a sad reminder of times past. The walls are crumbling, its once bright yellow colour has faded and underwater vegetation is slowly taking over the courtyard. Darkdragon Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 (edited) This is an underwater version of the Western set 6755-1: Sheriff's Lock-Up I've made a comments thread for comments. There's a new Sheriff in town! Many years after the melting of all glaciers in the world, the Spongebob crew found an old rundown sheriff's office and jail. Even though the roofs are collapsing and the plants have started to overtake the buildings, they decided to make it their own. A few more images and larger images on Flickr. Locutis Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 (edited) Global warming has had a tremendous impact on the Lego City. The Winter Village was hardest hit, being submerged under 100 feet of water. Jacques Champagne and his dive crew visits the old site, where the Winter Village Bakery once stood. The smell of fresh baked bread has long since been forgotten in this place. More and larger images on Flickr Brickset Locutis Edit Oct 8: I forgot to name this set! It is the Lego Ruins of The Underwater Village Bakery. I hope adding the naming after the closing of the contest isn't a violation of the rules. Edited October 8, 2011 by Locutis Quote
SpacySmoke Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Here's my entry: Sunken City Corner Based on set 7641. Since the icecaps melted, the once busy city corner is now just decayed ruins, discolored by water and overgrown with seaweed. But ho, what's this? The city corner is once again a lively place, thanks to the many fish and ocean life that now call it home! The city bus was pushed by the ocean currents into its final resting place between some rocks. The poor bus driver did not make it out. See more photos on Flickr. Quote

Legostein Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Hello! These are all such great creations and I am glad being part of the fun. My entry (see here the original entry thread from Spetember 17th) is called: Submarine slip-up After the big meltdown mankind had accommodated to the new underwater environment, and some creative survivers began to transform the leftovers of earthbound life into things more suitable for underwater life. But even these suffered from malfunction from time to time... Earthbound set 8402: Underseas version of set 8402: Have a great friday! ~ Christopher Quote
Hiawatha Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Hi! This is my first contest on Eurobricks and I enjoyed being a part of this! This is a underwater version of the Armada Flagship 6280. The story: The Imperial Armada was saling along the seas nicely, until a band of pirates managed to sneak on board. Once they were spotted, a battle broke out and during the battle a large wave crashed down upon the ship. (The Industrial Revolution had not started yet, so I worked with what I could ) She then sank to the ground and broke into many pieces. The beauty of this ship can still be seen on the ocean floor, but many plants have found a home on the ship pieces, and the site is also a popular place for sharks. Can you spot the soldiers and pirates? The whole MOC. The left side. The right side. If you want to see more, please check out The Brickshelf Folder Quote

Stardusty Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Yes, another entry that presents underwater version of set 30070. Here's how the real set looks like: (picture is a link) My little MOC is named: "Is it a fiiiiiiiiiish?" Is it a fiiiiiiiiiish? by hrcywindu, on Flickr Is it a fiiiiiiiiiish? by hrcywindu, on Flickr Neat little backstory: Once upon a time, in a galaxy far far away... On a little planet called Pizza Planet live LGMs, also called aliens. Once they technology was developed, those little fellows decided to explore the universe. They've sent few little ships to find planets that would be suitable for a life. Their task is to find out as much as they can about the planet suitable for living, write a report, and come back. One of them, called LGM 14245 (try to guess where's the name coming from ), came to planet once known as Earth in year 2152, after many, many years of traveling. The whole planet was a huge blue ball. All the icebergs have melt, and sea levels have rissen. It was the doom for all it's natives. Creatures that were able to live under water survived, but LGM didn't care about them. LGMs don't need food, air, nor anything else humans need. So, he parked his ship near "vents", since that's the place that should be easy to find. After weeks of exploration, he came back to his ship, and fin it a bit dirty. But that's no rpoblem for our hard-working friend, he'll clean it. BUT, what's the thing under his ship? "Is it a fiiiiiiiiiish?" My thoughts. I had no idea whgat to buidl until today. On my history class, we learned about ancient history, so I've decided to think about what to build. I remembered a small set I bought in March: 30070. So, I came home, and built my entry. I know there are some things that are not logical, but ignore them. All of them were made on purpose, since that's the way they looked the best to me. For example, LGM would float, and it makes no sense to leave thrusters working while under water. The ship would drive away! But, those are all teh little details I ignored, to make this entry better in my eyes. I had a lot of un building my entry. Thanks to Eerobricks staff for organising an hosting this contest! I hope you like my entry! Please comment and criticize it here! Quote
