mifody Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 All I welcome! I represent to your attention the new work on a theme of modular buildings - the CINEMA! And so, building general views: On a long vertical signboard there should be an inscription in Russian "К-И-Н-О-Т-Е-А-Т-Р" that is translated as a cinema! On the central panels there will be posters with new films! And now is more detailed! Two gentlemen discuss a new film about cowboys! Friends are photographed against posters with new films: The visitor of a cinema! By the way, doors at a cinema sliding (is more detailed more low)! Cleaners on a balcony of 2nd floor wash walls: Let's consider the second floor! On the screen show advertizing of a new mullions-strong action "Turоk"! The cinema hall, many places are still free! Some visitors were frightened only having seen teaser a new film!!! It is a room of the projectionist! Yes-yes, I know that it should be on the center, but at me it has not turned out to realize as it is necessary! It was necessary to improvise and go on some conventions! In a room of the projectionist you can see a projector and cases where films with films are stored! Cinema hall: on a back background you can see an input in a hall! On an input in a hall there is a controler who checks presence of tickets and helps visitors to take the places! Now we will pass to the ground floor! And how promised - sliding doors: Ticket office: Screens on which show teaser new films: Turn in a ticket office: One of visitors drinks coffee with sausage!!! Cafeteria: The happy visitor with popcorn and the ticket! And this door in a pantry where the harvest stock lies! Well and now some photos of a cinema with other modular buildings! On it I finish! I wait for your comments! Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Very nice, especially the cafe bit, it looks rather cheerful. I can't quite make out the comment on the bottom of the poster for the film 'The Bricks are coming,' as it is hidden behind the plant. What does that say? Quote
Badger Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I adore this amazing moc , keep up the good work man ! Quote
L@go Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I really like this. The exterior is a very nice variation on the design from the Town Plan, but the interior contains really great features. I like the projector room and the ground floor - and the ticket booth is a particularly good design. I appreciate the inclusion of stairs in any modular building, so I applaud the decision. That said, it looks like the hole in the first floor is a bit small for a minifig to get through when ascending from the ground floor. Maybe you could widen it a bit towards the area with the three yellow chairs? I can't quite make out the comment on the bottom of the poster for the film 'The Bricks are coming,' as it is hidden behind the plant. What does that say? You can see it clearly in the 11th pic from the top - it's the sticker from 10184, Town Plan, saying "It's from out of space". Not "outer space", then... Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Another fantastic creation 'mifody', taking the cinema from Town Plan and turning it into a modular.....I must say....love the cafe ! And that is really a wide screen eh ? But where are the cup holders and pop corn ? Excellent work as always from you 'mifody' (also cool colour choices too ).....Brick On ! Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Great MOC 'mifody', much better than the TLG's version. Love the work on the interior. Two stories really make it right. Who would have guessed TLG would be prepared with $100 bills. After all you really can't see a movie (with popcorn without a Benjamin these days Great build Quote
Locutis Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Very nicely done. I've wanted to build a modular cinema for over a year, and I envisioned it exactly as you built it. Good work! Locutis Quote
sonicstarlight Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Really great theater! I was wondering how you were going to fit everything inside when I first just saw the exteriors, but you have really managed to get a lot into just two floors! Lots to like, but I think your popcorn buckets are my favorite detail - so simple yet completely believable. Excellent job. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 I really like the buckets of popcorn. Looks tasty. Quote

mifody Posted November 3, 2011 Author Posted November 3, 2011 And so, the inscription "Cinema" (in Russian "К-И-Н-О-Т-Е-А-Т-Р") is ready! Here that has turned out: It is necessary to make information boards only!!! Quote
