RubeusHagrid Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I'd like to remove some print, specifically the 'POLICE' on the back of the new medium blue torso. Any ideas? Quote
Darkdragon Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Brass polish or Mr Clean Magic Eraser Quote
fred67 Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Is the magic eraser really that good? I haven't used anything yet, I went looking for Brasso and it seems the U.S. formula is different because of stupid nanny state regulations - the reviews at Amazon say the new formula is terrible. One of the benefits supposedly is that you keep a clean "shine," because it's polish, after all. Darkdragon is the first person I've seen recommending the magic eraser, so I was hoping some of you could let me know how it works, or if you've used the new U.S. Brasso with success. Quote

I used the Magic Eraser to get the print off a microfig when the first game with a yellow figure came out last year. It worked really well and best of all no chemicals. Quote
fred67 Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Wow, that looks great! Thanks for picture, I'm sold. Quote

Interesting. I bought it here in California (A real nanny State by the way) and used it with no issues and it worked the way folks said it should. However, it does seperate on the shelf so I have found that if you do not shake well, it will not work as well. make sure you really shake it well. Hoboman Quote
Omicron Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Brasso is what you want and gives the best results. I have used it countless times for making my figs, particulary my TRON ones. -Omi Quote
